There was the fifth annual meeting of Eastern Siberia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Core Group Union with Irkutsk Oblast Governor I.I. Kobzev on March 22, 2022. More than 50 regional enterprise CEOs, Eastern Siberia Chamber of Commerce and Industry members , Irkutsk Oblast Ministry representatives, tax authority and party organizations took part in the event.

Governor Igor Kobzev reported that for the last 2 weeks there had been formed and implemented the set of citizens state support measure as well as the subjects of small, medium and large business operating in the Angara Region. He highlighted the necessity of the foreign economic activity as well as trans regional collaboration between the Siberian Federal District entities. The issues of banks cooperation in solving the export-clients +problems which appeared during the International Contracts execution due to the array of introduced sanctions in the banking sector. These issues were discussed at the meeting of Eastern Siberia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Core Group Union with the Governor of Irkutsk Oblast. Irkutsk Oblast SME representatives’ participation expansion in the auctions for the right to draw the sales and purchase agreements of the forest range to increase the production (the question arose due to the lack of raw material); the possibility to increase the cost of the vouchers of the drawn state contracts in 2022 for healing the physically disabled people, veterans, children, in connection with the suppliers price rise; the tourist service quality improvement along with the SME support in the tourism and hospitality field were also discussed at the meeting.

Vladimir Klimentiev, "The Russian Sable" Baikal Auction Company CEO, identified the meeting as productive. "The emotions are positive. I hope our company has been heard by the government and we will have a feedback. We have a lot of projects. I personally had a talk to the governor after the meeting. He redirected the issues to his deputy. We had a long, productive conversation and exchanged the contacts. "
